A small circle of artists were invited to customize Chanel bags by hand, live, on site. No two alike.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eOn opening day, March 1st, that artist was Kevin Lyons. The American creative force behind the look of streetwear itself, from Stüssy to Nike to Girl, known the world over for his \"Monster\" characters. This is the bag he painted.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe foundation is Chanel's 2011 Ladybug Medium Classic Flap in black quilted lambskin: silver-and-enamel ladybugs scattered across the quilting, one perched on the CC turn-lock. Over it, Lyons worked by hand in white trailing lines looping across the front, a Monster across the back, and his signature, KYLONS, in silver.
